Summer swim will be here before we know it. Yay! I am READY! :)
The first day of practice will be June 1st. We will normally not practice on Tuesday when we have meets. I just wanted to send out a few reminders. The link to register is attached if you have not registered yet. I am also including the information sent on the previous email. There is one change to this. The fee for nonmembers has been changed to $75 for the first swimmer per family and $25 for any additional swimmers.
You may Venmo swim fees to @woodland-swim or pay by check when practice begins. Fees are due by June 4th.
We will swim in solid black suits this year. We did not use team suits last year due to Covid, but will resume this year. Suits can be purchased at Swim n' Tri, Academy, online at Swim Outlet, or anywhere that sells a solid black suit.
Our meet schedule is not finalized as several teams have new coaches and are not scheduling meets yet. Here's what we have so far:
If you are receiving this because you swam last year and you do not intend to swim this year, let us know and we will be glad to remove you.
Can't wait to see you!
Welcome to another great summer of swimming at Woodland Swim Club!We are glad to have all our new and returning swimmers join us for another exciting season of swim.
Our coaches will be returning this season, Victoria Miller and Jackson Craft! Victoria is a graduate of USM and currently teaches second grade at Corpus Christi. She is a former McGill Toolen swimmer who swam on their 2012 state championship team. She has coached swim and taught lessons at the YMCA and Amberly Swim Club.
Her younger brother, Marshall, is a Gator swimmer. Jackson was a Woodland swimmer and has been a lifeguard for many years and helped with the swim team. He swam for CMSA and Davidson High School. He is currently attending the University of Alabama.
Do not include swim team fees with pool membership dues. They do not go to the same account. Thanks!!!! Swim Team fees may be paid by check, cash, or Venmo. (@woodland-swim)

Nonmembers are charged the above fee plus an additional $75 per swimmer as a nonmember fee.
We will sell concessions at all home meets. We are asking every family to donate a case of drinks to concessions.
We will ask for volunteers as needed through Sign Up Genius. All families are expected to volunteer for at least two meets.
For meets, girls wear a solid black suit, and boys wear a solid black jammer. WST monogram in green is optional. Suits can be purchased at Swim N Tri or Academy Sports.
Your child’s safety is our top priority. Here are some of the steps we will be using to maintain health/safety:
Please refrain from talking to the coaches during practice. Their attention needs to be on our swimmers. When you enter the pool area, shut the gate behind you.
Remind your swimmer that there is no running in the pool area.
The pool has a safety plan in place and we will follow all directives from the pool as well.
Morning practice will begin June 1st. Practice times will be as follows:
Our Meet schedule will be released as soon as it is available. We will have meets on Tuesday nights. Our first meet will be an Intraclub meet on June 8th.
